Product Description
Limestone Fireplace Mantel SKU: CH 117 brings a deep sense of growth to a main hall. Intricate acanthus leaves and climbing vines turn the stone into a permanent, frozen garden. A smooth, solid face feels like rain-washed river rock under a palm. This arrangement of carved blocks establishes a sense of permanence and history in an open space.
Natural tones of sun-baked tan, deep ochre, and pale biscuit flow through the tall pillars. The stone shows a rugged, weathered face marked by small mineral pits and organic fissures. Each carved leaf stands out with a sharp, crisp edge that remains distinct through the seasons. Rounded stone bases provide a stable foundation for the vertical garden of masonry.
Unfinished white oak floors draw out the lighter cream tones hidden in the masonry blocks. Smooth, hand-applied lime wash walls emphasize the high-relief carvings. Polished brass fire tools provide a sharp metallic glint against the matte stone surface. The finished structure exists as a living story of the earth, ready to host the first fire of the season.
In a tall library, this slender frame can highlight a collection of leather-bound books while bringing a layer of history to a bright sunroom. This masonry can also serve as a sophisticated border for a primary bedroom hearth and defines a welcoming transition within a narrow entryway. The botanical elements draw the eye upward, making a small space feel purposeful and refined.
