The heavy stone ledge is intentionally split into two levels, creating a rugged, stepped profile that turns the fireplace into a sculptural statement. Thick, square stone legs support this staggered weight, highlighting the contrast between the sharp, geometric lines of the stone and its rough, antique origins.

The exterior is coated in a weathered, chalky white paint that flakes away in layers, exposing the pale, sandy-yellow limestone beneath.
