A recessed central panel is flanked by carved stone scrolls that visually connect the upper structure to the basin. The bowl itself is half-round and deep, featuring carved gadrooning (fluting) on the exterior and resting on a solid pedestal base.

The stone is pale and weathered, ranging from cream to smoke-grey. Darker, natural rust stains mark the base and gather in the crevices of the carving, contrasting with the lighter surface to show real age. The finish is matte and worn, with softened edges that make the piece look established rather than freshly cut.
