Product Description
Anchoring the courtyard with massive, stacked stonework, Reclaimed Limestone Fountain SKU: FT 129 builds a heavy, ancient-looking backdrop for falling water. The tall backplate is constructed from thick rectangular blocks laid in visible horizontal courses and crowned by a molded capstone. The side blocks step outward near the bottom to meet a massive, deeply rough-hewn trough, while a thick stone spout extends directly from the center. The limestone shows chalk, ash gray, and soft beige tones, with heavy, dark weathering settled naturally into the basin and spout from years of holding water.
This tall, block-built backplate transforms a flat property line into a towering, structural water feature. At the bottom, the raw, hand-cut exterior of the trough provides a rugged visual weight that anchors the entire structure to the earth. This sheer vertical presence makes the fountain a natural fit to stand directly against a garden wall, inside an enclosed entry court, or at the edge of a planted terrace.
Setting this weathered limestone against smooth plaster, old brick, or terracotta paving connects the deep physical aging of the trough to the surrounding hardscape. This material pairing makes the stacked blocks feel like a surviving piece of an old estate, giving the garden an atmosphere of absolute permanence and history.
