Product Description

The French Limestone Fire Pit SKU: FI101-05A.M is constructed from four massive, individual stone blocks arranged to form a wide, square enclosure. The heavily pitted limestone features a pale, rugged base completely transformed by vibrant green moss and dark, natural weathering. Each thick rectangular segment displays deep surface gouges and battered edges, exposing the coarse, porous nature of the raw rock.

This highly textured, organic material introduces an immediate sense of age to outdoor living areas. Setting the moss-covered boundary directly onto a bed of crushed gravel or smooth, modern pavers creates a stark visual break between refined landscaping and unpolished geology. The separate block construction allows the heavy segments to be firmly set, permanently anchoring the center of a courtyard or backyard.

Operating as a substantial architectural border, the thick stone safely contains an open fire while maintaining a low, grounded profile. The wide, flat tops of the limestone blocks provide a rugged, heat-resistant ledge—offering a stable surface to rest wrought-iron fire tools, set down heavy mugs, or simply prop up your boots near the flames on a cold evening.
