Product Description
FG103-55 is a compact, deep-set stone vessel with a broad rectangular form and a heavily weathered surface. The limestone carries soft, muted tones with areas of darker staining and natural variation across the exterior. Its worn finish, softened edges, and visible surface marks reflect the character of an old French architectural piece rather than a newly finished stone basin.
The trough has a thick, squared rim surrounding a recessed interior, with the outer walls showing uneven coloration and subtle irregularities throughout. Weathering is especially noticeable along the edges and sides, where small pits, worn patches, and tonal changes give the stone added depth. Measuring 37 1/2 inches wide, 19 3/4 inches deep, and 18 inches high, its proportions give it a substantial presence while keeping the overall form low and grounded.
This antique limestone trough can serve as a planter, garden vessel, or architectural accent in a courtyard, terrace, entryway, or formal landscape. Its aged surface works naturally with clipped greenery, gravel, reclaimed brick, and other antique stone elements. Used on its own or incorporated into a larger garden arrangement, the trough brings the irregular texture and understated character of 18th-century French stonework into the setting.
