Product Description
The French Antique 18th Century Wellhead SKU: FK102-60 is a thick, two-piece stone block defining a perfectly circular opening through its center. The two halves join along an irregular, jagged central seam. The substantial weight and unrefined proportions of the stone bring immediate old-world charm to an outdoor space.
The pale beige limestone is heavily covered in vibrant green moss and orange-yellow lichen across its upper faces. The porous surface is naturally pitted and scarred from prolonged exterior exposure, delivering a genuine, rustic worn out aesthetic.
While the upper deck remains heavily weathered by the elements, the vertical outer edges feature deep, horizontal grooves. These coarse, parallel marks create a heavily textured perimeter that sharply contrasts against the soft plant growth above.
Functioning practically as a heavy well cover or a decorative cistern top, the split stone provides a permanent structural element for a courtyard. When positioned among natural plantings, the rugged limestone helps create a natural harmony between home and garden. Pairing this highly textured rock with dark wrought iron hardware, coarse crushed gravel, or rustic brick paving grounds the fixture firmly in the landscape and highlights its historic weathering.
