Rare Italian Limestone Trough with Fresco SKU: TR 08 is a compact rectangular vessel defined by a remarkable antique fresco. Faded blue and grey botanical motifs sprawl across one of the long faces, creating a striking mural embedded directly into the surface. The remaining outer walls retain a raw, unadorned pale beige and bone-colored finish.

The heavily chipped top rim breaks abruptly, dropping straight down into a deep inner basin. Dark earth stains and heavy shadowing pool at the flat bottom of the hollow core. A pair of small, circular holes pierces the lower section of the painted face just above the base line.

Tucked into an intimate courtyard, the deep block easily contains a steady flow from a classic brass water spout. Elevated on a low masonry pedestal, the painted vessel operates directly as a highly decorative garden focal point. This antique stone also serves beautifully as a unique, open-air planter for trailing vines.
